Unless you've been living in a secret underground Earth Kingdom bunker, or maybe you just aren't into Avatar (???), then you've heard that Netflix is bringing us a live-action version of the iconic series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. Eeeek!
Sadly, we all have to wait until 2024 for the show's premiere. Sad face. But fear not! Netflix dropped a little treat for us this week by revealing the cast for beloved characters like Iroh, Azula, Fire Lord Ozai, and, of course, Aang. Let's just say the fandom is doing somersaults of excitement. Pat yourself on the back, Netflix. So far, so good.
Though we're all crossing our fingers that the live-action series turns out good, let's be real. Remakes are never as good as the originals. But while we're anxiously waiting, how about we take a stroll down memory lane with some nostalgic Avatar memes to keep our bending spirits high, aye?
