Low key, there are literally so many words that technically we don't need to use. Like, you could say to your bae, who is genius but acting very toxic lately, that you and your bro are going to this amazing new gym where the vibes are so premium. "Ok, work," your very epic bae says to you. "Like, you got this."

Seems like people dislike modern slang, of course, as well as some phrases that are very overused (including one person who doesn't want to hear the word "very" anymore). There are just some words that grind your gears every time you hear them.
One person detailed how they always hear young people use the word "like" so frequently in conversations that they don't think they could be friends with them. Perhaps after a while, you just, like, stop hearing it. Or like, you join in with them, because like, sometimes it is fun to play around with the English language. It's free and fun! Let the "like" people have their favorite word.
