However, they claim they're also nice to their students, and since they realize their students are trying their hardest, they tend to be kind when they're grading papers and tests. It's all about manners, though. The professor has a student named Mara who asks inane questions, interrupts the lessons, and alters her tests and quizzes to make it seem like the teacher messed up their own grading. It's easy to see why the professor wouldn't be making any special exceptions for a student like that. 

Teachers deserve the world, yet they so often get stuck with students who have no respect for their profession. It seems like every class has one student who becomes the teachers' nemesis by asking personal questions to derail the lesson, or just being unkind.
