Everyone does stuff they don't want to do sometimes. We do our chores around the house, we do laundry, we file our taxes– but for people pleasers, we do it all, which is why people pleasers are cursed.
We are basically just 'yes men', the kind of people who say yes to everything despite the outcome– except it's not in an adventurous way. We compulsively agree to every request simply because being agreeable is more firmly ingrained in our DNA than confrontation is.
