I feel like tables are one of those things that none of us really think about until they become a problem. Like when you keep spilling your drink because of the uneven surface you have to put it on, or when your desk keeps wobbling as you write in the middle of a test. A sturdy and practical table is every bit an essential in households and beyond in the same way we covet the perfect couch, or a comfortable bed.
For some reason, though, we don't always appreciate this. I guess it's partly because it's the kind of furnishing that isn't solely about making us feel nice. It's here to encourage us to do things, whether we want to or not. You don't require the use of a table to look at the memes below, but perhaps they can give you a newfound respect for our flat-surfaced friends. They carry a weight on their legs.
