Working at a bakery is a dream come true for some, and honestly, what is not to like? The place smells like a literal heaven, and you get unlimited pastries.
I might be exaggerating the 'dream come true part', because although the latter is true, there is still the pesky issue of the actual work. It can get repetitive, and the pay isn't great (in other words, don't expect to retire early), and to top it all off, you have annoying customers who have obviously never worked a day in their life, and sometimes, a micromanaging boss who constantly wakes up on the 'wrong side of the bed'.
Also, don't work at a bakery if you are not an early bird, because you will be up making pastries at 4 am, daily. Maybe 5, if you are lucky. In any case, this particular story is about an employee who was fed up after just 3 weeks of employment. Not due to any of the conditions stated above, but rather, because of an owner who just didn't know when to quit.
Not only was he not a good boss, but he was also a terrible human being. Always complaining, getting too close to his teenage employees, and making remarks that would get him canceled quicker than you can say 'cancel' are just a few reasons. To read about the rest, and about what happened, you will have to scroll all the way down.
If you enjoyed this story, next up we have a lawyer who flipped the script on a builder who treated a young family unfairly, and built them a house on land he technically didn't even own. Don't worry, he was brought to justice.
