Minimum wage doesn't really motivate you to jump out of bed in the morning, be excited to meet potential customers, and generally look forward to the day ahead.
If anything, you hit snooze, grumble, and wish that there wasn't that hole in your blinds that drowns your room in sunlight. Also, one could probably argue that people working minimum wage don't want to put in much effort because they aren't really getting compensated with a livable wage, anyway. There are so many of these jobs that you are bound to end up working one at least once in your lifetime. Sounds a bit miserable, doesn't it? It gets more miserable when your manager deals with perceived conflict by firing you. After termination, you have plenty of places to go, but still, getting fired can bruise your ego a bit.
In this case, as the title suggests, a worker was fired for eating a $5 hamburger… that was technically expired. You might ask yourself, why on earth would a manager fire someone over such a trivial thing? It's not like the hamburger was worth anything. Nobody would have entered the store, held up a sign, and begged the employees on shift to get them that one, expired hamburger from the back.
Generally, management and their decisions blow my mind. 9 times out of 10 I feel like they are lacking basic logic. How do they even get into their positions? Anyway, in order to find out what on earth went down in this story, scroll down. Then, if you are struggling in the modern dating world, check out these funny dating app flops.
