I think about the Werner Herzog film Grizzly Man more than I should. It's a documentary about a man who feels a great spiritual connection to grizzly bears. He spent thirteen summers at a national park in Alaska observing and living among grizzly bears. Park officials repeatedly told him that his proximity to these bears was not safe for him, nor was it safe for other park guests. Of course, he didn't listen and continued to get into the bear's grills (haha, get it, bears grills). He believed that after all the time he spent with these bears, they had a connection to him similar to the affection he felt towards them. Unfortunately, that was not true because, in 2003, he and his girlfriend were attacked by grizzlies, which led to their deaths. If you like bears in a less deluded way and enjoy looking at them from the safety of your computer screen, these bear memes might cheer you up after that harrowing anecdote.
