Being sick as an adult is the worst. You're sweaty, work is piling up, and there's nothing to drown out the loud pounding headache in your ears. When we were all kids, it was the cool thing to stay at home from school and take a sick day, but as an adult, there's no all-day marathons of MacGyver on TV and we can't sneak in 4 Hallmark movies into our schedule. There's laundry to be done, no food in the fridge, and the medicine cabinet is pathetically empty. Mom's not here to cook you soup and nobody is sending 'Get Well Soon' messages either. If you're considerate enough to call out of work, your coworkers will reward you with 50x the workload when you return, while you waste away in the hot, greasy confines of your crumb-filled bed, wondering if withering away is really all that bad.
Well, at least when you're sick, you've got plenty of time for memes. Hopefully a dash of humor will quell your dizzying headaches and dry-heaving cough better than Robotussin or NyQuil– because quite frankly, ain't nobody got time for this and we're Suda-fed up with being sick! Just don't research your symptoms on WebMD…
