'Carol was a Karen': Restaurant worker gets fired by boss for her mistake, gets boss fired as petty payback

This Karen was actually the manager until the employee she fired got her booted too. That's what you get when you were the one who messed up and everyone saw it. Carol was the assistant manager of a restaurant that employed a high school student who wound up working approximately 60 hours each week (when did he find time to do his homework is the real question!). That student shared their side of the story via this thread on Reddit's r/pettyrevenge subreddit. On a busy day at work, Carol was heard loudly saying she was going to "cook" the remaining roast beef order in the microwave. Of course, customers heard her say this. Carol already had it out for the Redditor and eventually fired him for no good reason that day.

However, when the Redditor got the cook on his side, the general manager of the restaurant asked them to stay behind and explain what went wrong. That's when OP revealed exactly what Carol said that caused all the drama in the first place. Long story short: Carol got herself fired, and OP offered to send her things to her personally.
