The 'Fast & Furious movies are massively popular. The in-your-face, high-octane Summer blockbusters have entertained the masses for over 20 years at this point. None of this is news to anybody, we've all seen at least one of the mainline entries at some point.
As a person who has seen all the movies, I can tell you that they've changed drastically over the years. It started as a stylized action film centered around the world of illegal underground car racing and the people who inhabit it. Throughout the 9 subsequent entries, we have seen everything from sports cars being used to take down an aircraft carrier to the main characters of the film being sent into outer space. To say it jumped the shark would be an incredible understatement. But we don't watch "Fast & Furious" to take it seriously, it's a high-speed, action-packed spectacle held together through a ridiculous, corny story. What's not to love?
