The dating world is a complicated place. With all the advances of the 21st century, it seems like it should be easier to find a mate. The woman was upfront about her occupation, but she may have been a bit too aggressive in her approach. The man may have been turned off by her profession, or perhaps by her directness about his income. We would have run faster than we could say "Eiffel Tower," but fortunately, there are patient people in the world.

This leaves us wondering if we should feel bad for the woman. She was honest with the man on a first date, and after all, we all have to make a living. Does her profession really warrant a "flee-and-block"?
