'That poor little girl': Daughter Goes Mute After Dad’s Girlfriend Punishes Her for Speaking Spanish in the House and He Allows It

And second of all, when we really think about it, all of our dating and relationship issues stem from our childhood, our parents, and the way we were raised. Some were more fortunate than others and grew up in stable homes where the parents were emotionally mature while others… well, the rest of us have pretty much had to figure it out as we go. That's why we think it's important to highlight all sorts of parenting stories so people can learn from others' mistakes and stop the cycle before it continues. 

And that brings us to today's story. The highlight is on a single father of a 7-year-old girl. He's a young dad but has a support system. A support system so strong that they've supported his daughter for the first 6 years of her life. But now that she's back with her dad… that's where it gets rocky. You see, this dad right here thought it would be wise to allow his girlfriend to punish his daughter for acting out and refusing to engage with the girlfriend.
