Divorce is a nasty process that can leave you an emotional wreck… and it's not too kind to your bank account, either. In this case, a woman who we'll call OP took to Reddit to share the petty revenge she took on her ex-husband, who left her high and dry but backtracked when he realized that he would have to pay loads in insurance. He didn't want her back, per see; he just wanted her insurance.
During the time that he left, OP was an absolute wreck, as aforementioned. She was crying every night, sometimes on the bathroom floor. So suffice to say she wasn't exactly keen on giving him what he wanted… unless of course, it entailed her getting something she wanted.
