'She was going to hire a 'professional'...': Boss refuses to stop cleaning computer until it's ruined, because her method would 'really clean it out'

This person claims that their boss is only their boss because she just decided she was the Office Manager one day, and everyone went along with it. That seems like a recipe for disaster! 

You'd think that after working in an industry for ten years, this woman "Kevina" would kind of know what she's doing. The OP, u/alas_vikn, shares that they work at a stone company (and they've gotten in the habit of referring to Kevina's shenanigans as "The Flintstone Chronicles"). At this small company, Kevina has created a rather toxic environment. The OP notes that she believes the best way to get ahead is through "backstabbing, gossip, shifting blame and minor improvements." 

Office gossip is one of the fastest ways that morale drops — if you hear people talking about each other behind their backs, you know they're also whispering about you. Another thing that's poor for morale are bosses who just cannot admit they're wrong, and Kevina sounds like just that type of person. Since she wanted to impress her boss, she planned to hire a professional to do a virus sweep on a computer, but the professional she chose was super under qualified. But she wasn't finished yet — alongside the computer's internal health, Kevina was determined to make the computer shine outwardly, too. Truly, what was she thinking?!
