'You better open this dang door': Employee locks door and catches wannabe thief trying to steal from convenience store

I guess you could say this guy was locked red-handed! He was trying to steal an 18-pack of beer from a convenience store and clearly thought he had planned it all out perfectly. However, the employee had seen this occur a million times before and was able to anticipate it. It turns out you could lock the front door of the convenience store remotely from behind the counter. 

When the Redditor saw the wannabe thief eyeing the beer, clearly planning to take it without paying, the employee locked the front door without the guy's knowledge. When the wannabe thief attempted to make a run for it, he was surprised to discover that the door was locked. By the time he yelled for the employee to open the door, the employee knew that if he unlocked it, the thief would be sent flying and the beer would spill all over the place. Oh, well. It's what the guy requested and it's exactly what ended up transpiring.
