That kid is going to resent her aunt for the rest of her life after this. It's one thing to make a choice with your partner to have a child-free wedding. That's perfectly normal. However, Ella is 12 years old, so her exclusion feels slightly unnecessary, but don't worry. It gets much worse.
According to this thread, which was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit, the bride specifically told her brother that he couldn't bring Ella because they were sticking to their ground rules. Fine, but what happened when he showed up to the wedding? There were plenty of kids everywhere, including his other siblings' children who were even younger than Ella.
