So, power to her! She quit, but it didn't stop there. Despite having filled out a W4 form, she was never paid for that week of work. Even after filing a complaint with the Department of Labor, they told her that the part of the form that the employer should have filled out was never completed. Furthermore, her ex-boss even went so far as to claim that the Redditor was merely "job shadowing" for that week. With no other proof of her time there, she feels pretty much at a complete loss.
