Customers who whip out a rewards card at every grocery store live every moment thinking about 10 cents of savings and they are very serious about their discounts. Typically those 'rewards members' tend to also be the Karen or Kevin types and they can be a huge pain, thinking that every grocery store employee and patron is their personal servant. In this case, one man got petty revenge on a reward-loving Karen after she cut him in the 10-items-or-less lane at checkout, unloading a full cart in front of him when he only had one item to purchase.
Naturally, OP was ticked off by her snooty approach, charging in front of him before he could purchase his item, but he was even more peeved when she proceeded to count out all 25+ items from her cart. She asked a myriad of specific questions and special requests to the grocery clerk that dragged out their transaction and finally, OP was ready for some revenge on this waste of time. Unfortunately for that Karen, at the end of the sale (and end of OP's patience), she verbally recited her cell phone number to the cashier so that 'she could get her gas rewards points'. OP's ears perked up and he saw an opportunity for some saucy revenge.
