'She said woof': Doggo Stars in an Engagement Announcement Photo, Resulting in a Seriously Punny Comment Section

When you're about to propose to someone, the butterflies take over in your stomach and you start to question whether or not your beloved will say yes. Some folks head to Reddit for a little affirmation before they pop the big question, but one loverboy recently posted the most misunderstood engagement announcement photo, staring not only his future fiancé, but a handsome border collie. Naturally, the dog was the only thing on everyone's mind when they were leaving encouraging comments, leading to the punniest, most outrageous comment section ever. 

u/newherel was feeling nervous about his impending proposal, but all he got instead was an onslaught of doggo jokes that probably led to some serious confusion. Of course, Redditors joked about how OP was going to propose to the dog, but quickly the comment snowball rolled into Internet doggo territory, with one user suggesting that the dog is the one who actually created the post in the first place. Are they wrong? We've all heard the classic saying, "On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog", so perhaps this was one of those instances where a highly intelligent herding breed dog got a hold of the laptop and stole the show.
