What up, what up? It's that time of the week again. Tuesday. While this day may be the most difficult of the week (no longer refreshed from the weekend, lots of weekdays left until freedom), its name does happen to have some interesting origins. Tuesday actually stems from Tīwesdæg, an Old English word that means "the day of Tiw." Tiw was a Germanic god of war, similar to Mars, or Ares, if we're talking Roman or Greek mythology. Somehow it makes sense that we'd be offering up our weekly collection of Lord of the Rings memes on a day dedicated to such a god. I know that I have rewatched the series countless times to chase the tingly feeling I get from the epic battle scenes of Peter Jackson's original trilogy.
