Minding your own business at work should be a simple and painless task unless you're a Karen, or being targeted by one. In this case, an employee (who we'll call Karen) made everything her business, blaming everyone else for her own mistakes, and ensuring her coworkers were as miserable as she was. One of these coworkers was OP, who had a personal vendetta against Karen from multiple unpleasant past experiences. The company they were working at was an insurance company, and OP's job was to coordinate appointments with doctors and specialists, while Karen's job was to audit OP's calls.
Because of their history, Karen unfairly audited OP's calls, giving them terrible scores for no reason other than to ruin OP's chance at bonuses. Now that Karen was directly interfering with OP's salary, OP had had enough and confronted Karen about the entire situation via email. 'If you have a problem, take it up with my supervisor' Karen retorted, obviously finding it hard to believe that OP would, in fact, contact her supervisor. But Karen was wrong, and OP decided to play along via malicious compliance.
