When I was a little kid, I was vehemently anti-princess. I don't remember my exact thought process from when I was three years old, but I know I did not like them. There is an iconic childhood photo of me from "Princess Day" at preschool, wearing a collegiate sweatshirt and looking downright angry. I was not having it.
Although the princess and I community started off on the wrong foot, I started to like princess movies more as I got older. By the time I was ten, I was a proud Cinderella stan, particularly in the straight-to-DVD sequel, Cinderella III: A Twist In Time. I am not being facetious when I say that Cinderella III: A Twist In Time is my all-time favorite Disney movie. It's got comedy, incredible songs, and time travel! If that cinematic masterpiece didn't make me a Disney princess stan, I simply don't know what could.
