When you come home from a long day of paper filing, traffic jams, rainy sidewalks, and lukewarm coffee, it always helps to open your front door and be greeted by your overly happy, wiggling ball of fluff. They have no idea how cruel the outside world is and dogs are always happy to see you-- foul mood or not. 

If their lolling tongues and waggling tails aren't enough to raise your spirits, get on down there and give them a pet. They might boof happily, they might lean heartily against your leg, and they might even roll over onto their backs for a cheeky belly scratch. Now, doesn't that cheer you up?
