Lo-Fi Possum Memes For Angsty Gen Z Teens

We don't know what it is about them (or maybe we do), but these Lo-Fi possum memes are hitting all the serotonin spots. Possum memes have been on the rise since 2018, but why? What makes them so unique? Well for one, it's a complete shift in humor from funny and silly to raw and risqué. Much of the content of these memes revolves around topics of mental health which viewers use as a coping mechanism.

Both millennials and gen z love sharing these memes because they can identify with all the chaos, drama, and sass that these possums possess. When they're not screaming or digging through garbage, they're probably self-destructing. We're not judging though, we can definitely relate!

But besides all of this, they're fluffy and smoll and just so darn cute! Those little paws and crazy facial expressions melt our hearts every single time. Screaming possums + 2000's looking word art = ultimate happiness.
