Well, this is not the kind of Stranger Things news anyone wanted before the final season. According to a report by The Daily Mail, Millie Bobby Brown has filed a harassment and bullying complaint against her co-star David Harbour - yes, Hopper himself. The report claims the complaint ran "pages and pages" long and sparked an internal investigation that went on for months.
While the details are still under wraps (and Netflix, the Duffers, and both actors' reps are staying completely silent), sources told the paper that none of the allegations were of a sexual nature. The timing, though, is… interesting. The story broke just as Harbour's ex-wife, Lily Allen, released her new album West End Girl, which seems to take several lyrical swings at her ex - and, let's just say, not the affectionate kind.
Both Brown and Harbour are currently preparing for Stranger Things Season 5, which drops its first four episodes on November 26. The situation reportedly left the cast and crew in an "awkward" position as production moved forward.
Whether this will affect the show's tone, promotion, or on-screen chemistry is still anyone's guess. But for a series that's built on supernatural tension, this might be the most uncomfortable plotline yet - and it's happening behind the scenes.
